Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. This page lists the ones Cyberunite uses and how to control them. Where a cookie is not strictly necessary we ask for your consent first, as the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 requires.
What this covers
This policy applies to everything Cyberunite provides — this website, our client portal, and every product and service line we deliver or operate:
- Web Development
- AI & AI-Powered Apps
- AI Fine-Tuning & Integrations
- Mobile App Development
- Web3 & Blockchain
- Crypto Apps & Exchanges
- Software & SaaS
- Branding & UI/UX Design
- Cloud & Hosting
- ICT Training
It applies whether the work is delivered as a one-off project, an ongoing retainer, a hosted subscription or a training course, and whether you reach us through this site, the portal, a mobile app we publish, or a contract signed directly with us. We serve clients in Nigeria and abroad; this policy applies to all of them.
What we use
Strictly necessary
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They set no marketing identifiers.
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in to the admin or client portal for the length of your visit. Expires when you close the browser or sign out.
- Security token — protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
- Consent record — remembers your cookie choices so we stop asking.
Analytics
Set only if you agree. These tell us which pages are read and where visitors struggle, in aggregate. We do not use them to identify you individually.
Marketing
We do not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
Managing cookies
You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings on this site — withdrawing is as easy as consenting. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; see the privacy or security section of your browser's settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the portal working.
Third parties
Embedded content such as fonts, maps or videos may set its own cookies, governed by that provider's policy rather than ours. Several of these providers are outside Nigeria — see the transfer section of our Privacy Policy. We keep such embeds to a minimum.
